Chelsea trashes Southampton as Man U and Arsenal slip in top 4 race.

Chelsea bounced back from a back to back defeat with a 6 goals triller against Southampton on Saturday afternoon after losing consecutively to Brentford by 4-1 and 3-1 to Real Madrid. 

Chelsea win against Southampton is needed to boost the teams moral ahead of their Champions League second leg  match against Real Madrid. 

Chelsea will be looking to have a comeback against Real Madrid later on Tuesday night if they are to advance to the Semifinals. 

Mason Mount and Timo Werner both scored brace while Marcos Alonso and Kai Havertz had 1 goal each to their name.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal fails on Saturday to close the gap between them and Tottenham after losing by 2 - 1 to Brighton who sits 13 on the table. 

Odeegard 89th minutes goal was not enough to secure Arsenal a point in the match. 

Manchester United Champions League qualification hope slips further after losing to Everton on Saturday. Gordon’s goal was enough to secure Lampard side 3 point against Manchester United. 

Manchester United faces Norwich in their next match before facing Liverpool and Arsenal consecutively.

Manchester City and Liverpool meets later today in the title decider match.
